Campbell Alliance CFO Named Triangle Business Journal’s CFO of the Year in the Medium Private Company Category
July 22, 2009
Campbell Alliance, the leading management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, today announced that CFO Patrick Manhard has been recongnized by the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ) as CFO of the Year in the Medium Private Company category. Mr. Manhard was selected from more than 70 nominees and 21 finalists in the Research Triangle Area, many of whom were recognized at an awards luncheon held on July 14 at the Embassy Suites in Cary, NC.
The TBJ’s CFO of the Year Awards program recognizes chief financial officers and senior financial executives who have demonstrated outstanding fiscal leadership over the past year. Selected by a panel of independent judges, awards are given to those executives who have performed exceptionally in the tough economic times.
Patrick Manhard joined Campbell Alliance in 2003. Since that time he has helped manage the firm’s year-over-year annualized revenue growth of at least 30%. Even in the recession year of 2008, the firm maintained a strong financial condition and double-digit revenue growth under his financial leadership.
“Patrick has had the difficult task of managing the financial aspects of a rapidly growing firm—not only in terms of revenue, but also in the number of staff and office locations. He has redefined and implemented scalable financial systems and operational reports to ensure that Campbell Alliance could successfully expand its business operations across the US and into Europe,” stated John Campbell, CEO of Campbell Alliance. “Additionally, working with senior management in developing cost containment strategies and budget awareness, Mr. Manhard has enabled the firm to remain completely debt-free. This is a remarkable accomplishment given the tough economic environment facing professional services firms during the past 12 months.”
