Campbell Alliance to Build New Headquarters in Research Triangle Park

Campbell Alliance, the premier management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is the latest major tenant to sign on to Brier Creek Corporate Center. The firm’s new headquarters will occupy a prominent position in what will be the Center’s fourth building; its 28,000 square-foot space includes the entire top floor as well as a portion of the first floor. Campbell Alliance also has rights for exterior signage on two sides of the building and expansion options for additional space. Scott Stankavage with Advantis Real Estate Services Company of Chapel Hill, NC represented Campbell Alliance in this transaction and Mike Fahey with American Asset Corporation represented Brier Creek Corporate Center.
Brier Creek Corporate Center is developed and managed by American Asset Corporation. Paul Herndon, President of American Asset Corporation noted “Brier Creek Corporate Center is far outpacing other office projects of its kind in the market in terms of leasing. Construction on the Center’s first two buildings, 8010 and 8020 Arco Corporate Drive, was completed in November 2005, and those buildings are already full.” Mike Fahey, Executive Vice President in Charge of Leasing at American Asset Corporation said “Currently major tenants include Schwarz Pharma and Stock Building Supply. Construction is now underway on two more 127,500 square-foot buildings, which will bring the Center’s square footage to 532,000 upon completion later this year with a total of 2,000,000 square feet planned for the park.”
Planned and developed by American Asset Corporation, Brier Creek Corporate Center is part of the 2,000-acre master-planned Brier Creek community, a mixed-use project featuring a blend of retail, commercial and residential elements. These include Brier Creek Commons, an 800,000 square-foot shopping center which opened in 2002, and Brierdale, an 82,359 square-foot neighborhood retail center which opened in September 2005. Land for the residential component has been sold to various developers; the largest of these parcels was sold to Toll Brothers, builder of the prestigious Brier Creek Country Club and Golf Course community. Other projects currently in the planning and development stages at Brier Creek include major hotels, additional boutique retail, medical offices, and an elementary school and park.
The many amenities offered by the Brier Creek development were a major feature that brought the Raleigh based Campbell Alliance to Brier Creek Corporate Center. In fact, the road and pedestrian bridge linking Brier Creek Corporate Center to the shops and restaurants at Brier Creek Commons, are expected to open just as Campbell Alliance takes occupancy in late August or early September.
