Campbell Alliance, the leading management consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, today announced that two senior executives from its Brand Management Practice will present a workshop at the 3rd Annual Forum on Early Stage Product Development and Commercialization Strategies for the Bio/Pharmaceutical Industry hosted by the Center for Business Intelligence (
Nader Naeymi-Rad, Senior Vice President, and Tom Luginbill, Vice President, will present a workshop titled “Comprehensive Pre-Launch Commercial Planning and Launch Logistics” at on February 26.
The workshop will provide a comprehensive understanding of each stage of pre-launch commercial planning and identify the key deliverables at each stage. They will also discuss strategies for managing the logistics of launch. In addition, the workshop features an interactive working session during which delegates will collaborate to determine the timing of each commercial planning stage and logistics-related activity during this critical phase of a product’s lifecycle.
“Preparations for a successful launch begin years before a product ever hits the market. As a result, it is critical that brand managers systematically develop commercial plans to maximize their product’s commercial viability,” stated Naeymi-Rad. “They must ensure that that the logistical aspects of the launch are managed expertly and in coordination with one another,” he added.
As the head of Campbell Alliance’s Brand Management Practice, Mr. Naeymi-Rad is an expert in developing and implementing commercial strategies and improving commercial processes.
Mr. Luginbill currently leads the Brand Management Practice’s East Coast operations, but he has spent the majority of his career in industry. In the course of his 20-year career, he has had a wide variety of commercial roles, including sales rep, marketing director, regional sales director, and Vice President of Commercial Strategy at GlaxoSmithKline, where he was responsible for worldwide commercial development of their antibiotic portfolio. Mr. Luginbill has launched several products, most notably Imitrex® tablets, while he was Director of Marketing at Glaxo.
